Agreed. Hundreds of hours into it, not disappointed in the slightest. Plus glorious mods to follow, plus more DLC, plus AtomicPunk retro-futurist awesomeness everywhere I look.

Their gaming legacy is a leg-up to compete against Sony & MS, but without that 3rd party support and same-level hardware, it’s not going to be enough long-term to keep them ahead in the competition.

I’m kind of thinking the 3rd party support comes back with current-gen or bleeding-edge hardware. That will price it on first drop out of the hands of their hardcore Nintendo fans and family ... but it’s probably the only way Nintendo gets 3rd party pubs to release more of their upcoming titles on their platform.

The only silly limit to 4 was the pop size. 5 just did not play nearly as well as 4 ... and some of their new mechanics were incredibly tilt-able to the point I just gave up a few weeks after picking it up.
