Either Steam’s Workshop or CivFanatics if you have it outside of Steam ... most of them are really easy to install. Cheers!

That’s why I love airports. They come almost too late to really affect the pathing issues with 1upt, but once that happens, zoom bang hooray for quasi-teleporters!

Love me some Romance of the Three Kingdoms. I usually went the fictional route and tried to assemble Cao Cao with Liu Bei and Sun Jian plus created warlords for the ultimate ass-whipping party on Dong Zhuo.

It’s got benefits and drawbacks. Particularly, if you play wide, you’re going to appreciate the tweaks far less because most games become super-optimal at around 4-8 cities no matter what you’re trying to do. The penalties for tech after that seem to become a bit too punitive toward wide empires (Gods & Kings seemed

I usually start off with a Science win because it’s the easiest of the bunch and doesn’t require any real cooperation with other nations.

USA all day every day. Minutemen make flanking units almost unnecessary. The UU bomber they have almost feels like cheating because you can build it in the final era and upgrade it to a Stealth Bomber with extra starting perks.

It’s probably a peer-related thing. If all their friends have moved onto the newest game released, they’re likely to do so as well.

If you’re looking for a different style of multiplayer, the guy to watch is FilthyRobot and his friends on YouTube. They play MP within a No Quitters community which uses a heavily-modded policy tree amid other tweaks.

Civ 5 is my lifetime jam.

Most English-speaking native games made don’t really have any sort of censorship in them ... the female characters have ridiculous sizes of busts for option in sliders, et cetera ... so I don’t really understand why Japan-native games do this, since boobs are universal, and our own market doesn’t prohibit such things.

I like PC and console games equally, but I almost always choose PC if I can run it because they tend to have the best capability in terms of graphics.

Haha it probably is. And if you have a solid enough rig to run it on PC, that’s been the overwhelming best option to play Fallout games since F3 for a long time.

Hooray no level caps indeed! Finally, a Fallout game that doesn’t need a mod for that!

The F4 Honest Trailer by Smosh on YouTube was great in general ... they renamed Strong “Average Bostonian” and I lost it. Honest Trailers is great at taking the piss out of everything!

That’s an interesting take, and I saw the post about it.

I found Curie’s stock responses to be very annoying.

The only bug I encountered so far that almost goofed my game (559 hours logged on PC so far) was attacking a machine that just wouldn’t die. I had to exit an area, go back in, then the machine finally died.

There’s another random encounter with the spaceship explosion, only this time it’s not inconvenient as fuck to find the rounds for it when it happens. But it’s an exhaustive search if you’re not familiar where to look because it seems to crash in the exact same spot every time this time.

This game was clearly not made with consoles in mind. Learned that the hard way with FNV.

I think this is for a niche crowd who can’t stand ‘filthy casual’ mode. The rest of us will have 500+ lbs of carry weight, 0 weight ammo and currency, and teleport everywhere in seconds.
