The thing that has generally bothered me about ‘early access’ is, in any form, it feels like the model is ass-backwards.

Does Pittsburgh want another goalie? Jimmy Howard is available. Please please please.
2nd this. It will wash away the bad memories of the ‘hd’ remake.
Glitchy Bethesda never changes!
Voice acting for the player-character? Saints Row-like, if that’s actually what they did!
Hollywood’s had a similar problem for years. There’s no middle ground, just indie shoestring or The Next Michael Bay Shitfest That Everyone Keeps Paying to See.
Perimeter offensive
Yeah, I didn’t think it was trying too hard. It’s the over-the-top extremity that pretty much captivates.
Not really. Because what we’re playing is separate from reality. It’s far different to encounter death and tragedy IRL than it is to experience it with a player-character in a game with a reset button. Same with horror genre, or dark comedies, or anything that concerns itself with characters making poor decisions.
He was. Alex was thoroughly sadistic, and the drugs he took achieved an even more compassion-less state. It was only after the state (spoilers) ‘helped’ him with negative feedback (basically torture) that Alex was able to achieve any sense of control over his actions. And it was only temporary.
There was a movie recently that pretty much hit the right notes in terms of an antagonist in the protagonist’s seat ...
I thought about it some more ... especially after seeing your words and the words of others here ...
You nailed it. I feel and think the exact same way.
I think if there is any goal at all for the player character beyond what appears to be the only goal ... the goal of racking up huge body counts ... then Hatred could have some dark fictional meaning to it.
When I was still playing this game, I loved whatever station had YACHT’s Psychic City on it. I enjoyed that song enough to buy the single from their website.
I really liked LA Noire. I think they can do that, but for the 1980s, and cocaine, and so much cocaine.
I loved this. Freaking amazing.
Fallout 4 with Oculus integration!
That’s possible, but I think it’s valid to desire the lack of bull-shots as far as selling the game ... which probably won’t happen because other industries don’t get in trouble for glossier representations of their product and/or service either.
You know, I can kind of see your point of view.
