I feel like Deep Silver (and to some extent, Take Two) would make a ton of money if they went back and re-did the original games in their respective series for the modern-day systems. Particularly Saints Row ... that one was definitely an experiment into the GTA competition, and they only allowed male characters IIRC.

Crap, I forgot one more thing about SR3 ... while not game-destroying, SR3's story removes a prominent character from the SR series, and I felt a bit jilted by the execution of how that unfolded ... it felt a bit arbitrary to me. That's primarily why I enjoyed SR2 more ... that character was one of my favs, and not

I disagree. I enjoyed SR2 both solo and with a friend, but I found waiting around for people to return to playing with me through the game to be more of a bother. But we were both completionists, and we wanted to do everything in co-op that was possible for achievements in the story mode, so that was part of it ...

SR2 is my fav of the series. But I played it on console (360), so I haven't experienced the nightmare of getting it to run right on PC.

So they're all opting out because the Heat got bird rights on their Big 3, meaning they can sign Melo then 'stock up' before they have to sign Bosh, Wade, & LBJ?

My other fav franchise was whatever Culture Brain baseball game was, that was ported to the States as Baseball Simulator x.000 ... they had those crazy special hitting and pitching perks that made that game just as much fun as Baseball Stars!

I think to answer this guy's question, there's no way to get around the sports org and player org licenses, if one wants to make, say, a game with LeBron James on the Miami Heat.

Steam Sale yeaaaahhh!

Of the two, I got to see Wade more, being a Tigers fan. And Rod Carew!

Growing up as a child in the 1980s, I loved this guy and Wade Boggs as the kings of batting average in that decade. I never forgot about Tony, and I never will. He was a joy to watch at-bat, like Maddux was a joy to watch on the mound.

I am indifferent to the mayor's expletive. It is more important to me that the mayor conduct his/her work lawfully, while serving the office.

37-year old white man here. Married, heterosexual.

It's all good, Kinja's a hot mess for organization lately.

lol, welcome to the party.

Yeah Wade definitely changed, big time drop-off. Those knees must be grinding bone, or close to it.

I think it's part that, and it's also part the fact that the weather's great, it's on a coast, and there are plenty of fun things to do around town. It doesn't excuse the whole majority aloofishness thing both SoCal and SoFla got going on, but it puts it into perspective.

Manu definitely looks like he belongs on Argentina's World Cup team. Plus, the legacy of flopping.

I have little doubt on the idea that LeBron will be back in the Finals. But I have no idea how that works best for him. If he stays, then they have to make some major adjustments with the main guys, for sure. If he leaves, then it might actually end up being easier for him to get back, if he somehow got on a
