I had both SNES and Genesis, and those were my teen years. I just happened to rent Alien 3 on SNES, the store didn't have the Sega version.
The way BNW works, if you love war, with any Civ right now, if you don't get yourself a bloc for a war party, everyone else is going to start working together to knock you out ... they really emphasize the political end of things in this latest build.
Harun al-Rashid tries to compete with him for the King Asshole award, and between the two, I've had more problems with Harun.
was there a difference in the game, or graphics? SNES games had slightly better graphics, but the Genesis games seemed to flow better, although the whole "blast processing" stuff is so quaint today.
It's pretty full-fledged now, and I like the maneuvering you have to do with military units, you can't stack them anymore, so flanking and other moves come into play.
In a current Venice run that I just won, it's a first for me, on the subject of Ghandi's AI ... I've never had an agreeable Ghandi in a game yet. He somehow became my super-bro in this one, and I think I know why.
You caught me at the best time to talk Civ, as I've been playing heaps of it these last few days.
Oh yeah, haha, just said that to someone else in another comment. Loved Alien 3 on SNES. Definitely one of the best in a large volume of sub-par games.
I liked Alien 3 on SNES a ton more than the theatrical release of the film. 'Director's Cut' kind of saves that film, though.

I'll never forget that ad. Helped sell a ton of Xbox 360 in North America.
I do apologize if my particular comment got under your skin ... wasn't my intent at all.

If, in my gaming history, I get lumped in with a child, I make a clear effort to be gentle with their presence, and I look to move on to more age-comparable arenas. If they are offensive in general, I let it go. But if they go after me, I give them some sort of notification that it's not okay, what they're saying. …
Making gaming a larger paywall would solve literally nothing. Some of the worst mouths come from the most affluent families. I run into inappropriate live chats no matter where I go, in PC or console or otherwise. It's a common failure of humanity among all demographics.
All the SCs were my jam, through SC4. There were some broken things in that previous iteration, but modders were more than active, creating a wealth of extras that made it fantastic.
Stopped reading when he went into the panning of basketball games, with them being a vehicle for LeBron James.
