Society in general has not seemed to lose any ability to treat people with courtesy and/or respect. One only has to look at the rampant atrocities inflicted by many people over the entirety of recorded human history to know that the only difference between some guy hurling death threats at a dev in this age and a guy

Ah, thanks!

I never said there was ... just wondering if there was a specific term among big fans of anime for the more casual crowd.

Interesting. In sports, the casual fans are usually the ones labeled, often despised among the heavy followers. If that's true, then it's the other way around, that the labeling is put upon the heavy followers.

You bring up an interesting idea with me.

I had the vinyl single of that, when I was a kid. Played the shit out of it, and the game, lol.

I can imagine a lot of random variables at play, among them, drug abuse clouding the judgment of the intruder, relative skill in combat of either the intruder or the defender, who makes the first move, is a firearm or other lethal weapon present on either side, lighting, so many things.

Loosely related ...

How hard is it to install a chili pot and a nacho cheese machine in the McDonald's?

If the game companies had the power and technology available to them today, back then, I don't think they'd have worked with small processing requirements and instead added a whole bunch of extra stuff, including levels, that they couldn't otherwise do.

I have nothing clever to say, other than thank you for writing this. If true, I too hope that Mike Priefer is removed from the professional football landscape as well.

They were very easy to shake in the other games, hence, they broke something that didn't need fixing. I really hate the GPS-pinpoint awareness in V.

When I think of the term "interactive fiction," the first thing that comes to mind is the Dragon's Lair arcade game. It was not much more than QTEs, but it felt like you were interacting with the animated story.

What doesn't make sense, that someone who was a superfan of the series didn't like the game? Or that Rockstar could fail to deliver on an over-reaching opus?

Too late ... no waiting for anything ... already done with it. :D

How about heists and fixing the payouts to original levels instead of coloring the map white and reverting driving to GTA IV Liberty City, in the rain?

RIP Henry Gibson & John Belushi!

I was born in the 1970s, and Aerosmith was still big in my youth, but it started before my time. I like rock and electronica equally, all music, really. But yeah, this was no crime to use that song for that vid.

It's okay, close enough, for most people it's all indistinguishable noise. But they're all correct, that's not dubstep. Rec'd for all da flashin' purty colours.

Surprise! I hate that feeling, unless I'm the one giving it.
