Yeah, but for some reason they were a lot of fun. I have a Charger now and it’s much faster (still limited to around 140). The Ford Intercepter (Taurus) is actually a lot faster but not nearly as much fun to drive as the Vic or Charger.

I don’t know, it can go either way. With pure stock you are right, but it doesn’t take really any wrenching to change that. Remapping the ECU for E85 and 25lbs of boost will get you near 400 hp and that makes for a pretty fast subi. You’ll need a rebuild at 80k, but it sure is fun until then.

I don’t remember Subaru ever telling me these were supposed to be “fast”.
