saw it last night (on Maui, a day before the mainland release)...and my 11 year old son and I loved it for what it was, a fun, intense, 3D extravaganza action movie. wow, you really overthink things! it reminded me of an old school movie like Jason and the Argonauts...just with killer 3D effects and amazing sound.
