Wow that’s actually delightful. I spotted Kratos, Fat Princess, Solid Snake and the Puppeteer, did I miss any? Also ‘with great power...’ is such a fun cheeky reference to the Spider-man font, I love it! I didn’t expect to be excited to play this, but I’m for real looking forward to it now!

I’d prefer a sequel to Reign of Fire than this. 

True, but the silver linings are getting a bit threadbare at this point.

To be fair though, I’ve pet Cerberus in “Hades” enough times that I got the achievement ages ago and still will go give him a pet when I’m returned to starting point after each death.  I’m convinced he’s a good luck charm at this point.
