So I’m in the battery and charger business (forklifts) and this is spot on. We’re not required to be certified electricians because we’re just connecting the chargers to the cutoffs that an electrician has installed. For the work being done on these chargers, we’ll power them down for most of the work, but if we’re

Really the story should be “New vehicles are expensive for everyone”.

Exactly. Just like UPS drivers aren’t making $170k year in income, that includes benefits. Still nothing to sneeze at though.

I was in the tall wagon group too (even when I had one), but it is technically a SUV. These days however, it would be tiny.

False, the 2004 Subaru Forester XT was better than this. Basically a lifted WRX with more room and an optional 5sp manual. 0-60 in 5.3 seconds, decent room inside and 8.7 inches of ground clearance. Handled well and went further offroad than most would dare. Add to the fact that all the WRX and STi parts bolted right

I’m thinking that both the automakers and UAW are the bad guys in this.

Fire up the Killdozer.

Because San Francisco protects criminals instead.

Or guns.

She’s clearly a badass, but I wish for her sake she hadn’t have said that she didn’t believe the biker could do her any more harm. This guy needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Either way, he clearly picked the wrong person to mess with.

I bet a 60" would last for you if you have a place to store it.

The average user will either have someone maintain their equipment or not maintain it at all. Electric has a lot less maintenance requirements, so I see this is a big plus that Home Depot will likely push.

The coal burning plant also has one single emission to worry about that is easier to control whereas cars are all over the place as far as emissions are concerned. Not to mention the entire process of oil production and transporting it. Then of course we can get into lithium and cobalt mining...

I inherited a Honda push mower that my grandfather bought from Home Depot back in the 90s. Needless to say, I likely won’t be in the market for a push mower for a long, long time. (I think I’ve only changed the oil once or twice since I’ve had it, which is almost 20 years now, and it still runs like a top). I’m not

Can confirm as a life long Nashvillian.

Fire ants are the devil.

That’s really all you had to say. Does Jalopnik just not even try anymore? Where are the fun and/or informative articles where the writers actually came up with something instead of just regurgitating from other sources?

Saw a comment online somewhere about how most companies wouldn’t hire someone who’s in their 80s, yet we’ll elect them to run this country. Make it make sense.

And we wonder why people won’t take a train when there’s an option. You’d think it would at least cut down that trip by half...

My argument has consistently said that Google shouldn’t be held liable because they’re merely providing a service, and one which has a terms of service which says if you use their product, you’re responsible for your own safety. Where are the inconsistencies that I’ve had?
