This is a wonderfully written piece. You really brought all these people to life in your writing and captured their world. I couldn’t stop reading. It was like I was standing on the street next to you talking with these guys.

I’ve spent over 20 years volunteering time during the summer at a camp for the intellectually disabled, and loved the hell out of this story. It’s one of the very few stories I’ve read that really captures the every day troubles of people with a mental disability.

I finally found some space in my day to read this masterpiece. Thank you so much for giving such empathetic and clear-eyed voice to Radar’s story. You have a talent for weaving a compelling narrative without getting in your own way. I’ll look forward to your next one!
