If your manhood is so fragile as to be sacrificed should you be known to drive a minivan, it's not the minivan that's the issue.

Oh sure, they've got Comfort Modules, but do they have one of these?
Right on.
It all started with a long drive from New York City to West Virginia.
But I would say they're doing really well for such a young company.
I've had my Model S since March of '13 and have ~24k miles on it. My list of issues include:
1) Sunroof motor going out (took 5 days to replace and was given full loaded Model S loaner for duration)
2) Creaking noises near the sunroof
3) Defrosting issues which was fixed via an over the air software patch.
4) Right rear…
First off, glad you and your family came out of that okay! The Mazda 5 is actually highly rated in offset crashes like yours: http://www.iihs.org/iihs/ratings/v…
as a survivor of a real offset head on in a 2010 Mazda 5, 50+mph, with my wife and 3 year old daughter, I can or at hand attest that it did a great job of protecting us, I walked, wife broke her leg below her knee, but she was actually sitting sideways when he hit. Daughter walked away. Sometime these safety "results"…
I have lived this video for better than 25 years of having everything from a 308 to an F40. By far the Prius and the Lexus types that have to insist that I have obviously made a poor choice and their car is far superior are massively annoying. But I figure that they are so unsatisfied with their lives that they feel…
If I ever see Doug getting gas I'm gonna pull up, ask him why he's driving around in my mother, and then ask him if he wants to visit my home planet for a chance to win a Buick Reatta.
They are faster than the 'poors'. Show up at the GA airport, flight plan filed, do your preflight, go. Land 300-600 miles away while the "poors" are still sitting on the tarmac waiting for clearance to a runway.
we have a twin-prop that pulls around 270, and while it's slower than a commercial flight (and honestly, there's less room), it is oh so totally worth the convenience and freedom. you save time or literally every single step of the process with the freedom to also land basically anywhere along your route.
A piston engine fighter also doesn't have a full pressurized cabin, room for several passengers, or nearly the same fuel capacity. This is extremely quick.
I've gotten a LOT of fuel economy questions from Prius owners over the years, and some aggressiveness. The one that stands out is one night I was filling up my huge old Range Rover Classic (long sold) at a gas station and a Prius woman asked how much it costs to fill up. At the time I also had a Panamera GTS and an…
I get approached at gas stations too, you know.
"Excuse me sir, I can't help but notice you drive an old german sedan. Would you like me to call a tow truck for you? Oh- you're just getting gas? You mean it actually runs?"
Not when you go #2
Reaction was spot on - get off the track and make sure your car is OK. One issue though - NEVER use your parking brake after a track session. Sure fire way to seize up the calipers (or at a bare minimum, warp the rotors).
Both drivers did the correct thing in response to what was presented to them. If only more drivers had this level of know-how/training. I'm getting real tired of the cell phone commandos I encounter daily.
Summit Point Raceway in WV, the main circuit. The track has had numerous deer related incidents.
Hey man, don't disparage Dr. Youabian. I've been in contact with him through email recently. Apparently there's a large sum of money sitting in customs right now, and as soon as I pay the inspection fees, he's going to bring me 14 million dollars.
