This woman's house is less than 1/2 mile from mine. No, we almost never get any violent crime in this area. Petty theft, sure - mostly idiots in my neighborhood who leave their cars unlocked (and GPSs get stolen but rarely mess with anything else).

@Sport6: And the Ford Contour / Mercury Mystique / Cougar owners with 2.5L failures due to lack of oil drains in the heads leading to spun bearings / throwing a rod.
@MosContraMundum: A new Taurus weighs 2 1/4 tons. As does every "mini" SUV. Are they all land yachts too?
@Number_Six: That's an accurate description. My next door neighbor has a red one - I dare say (this might be sacrilege) that it sounds better than his F430 Scuderia when it starts up and echos between our houses. And dear god does it sound amazing going up a long, slow hill.
@Ess Tea Pea: Funny; I was doing the same imaginary "driving" at that age too - although I wasn't into drag racing; I was thinking about an Austin Healy or an Alfa Spider Veloce or a Corvette.
@stephdumas: That has got to be one of the funniest videos I have ever seen. I forgot how good SNL and Mad-TV used to be (at least last time I watched either of them).
@JasonHamilton35: This is the first time I've heard of this issue with this model. My '98.5 SVT with 137k miles hasn't exhibited any of those problems. And it has spent a lot of its life in heavy, heavy stop and go traffic in the heat with the AC on (plus a good number of track days).
1982(or 1981, not completely sure) Buick Skylark Limited sedan. All I remember is the constant complaints when it wouldn't start, would quit, would buck, or wouldn't pass state inspection - always blamed on the "newfangled computer controlled engine" - Dad claimed it was GM's first foray into using a computer for…
"...a paint job that's whiter than a klan rally"
The B13 SE-R was one of the best values in performance sedans (yes, it is a 2 door sedan) in the early to mid-90s.
@ChiefPontiaxe is now also Chief VolvoWagonAxe: Yep, this was my favorite poster in junior high. Very proudly displayed. I think I even used lawn money to buy a cheap plastic frame at Michaels.
@mercury_marine: Will you buy a Merc when the Arab terrorists love them and Hitler did too? What about Toyota (Land Cruisers) all used by the dictator Africans (the Japs also bombed Pearl Harbor in case you forgot)?
Maybe if it wasn't parked in the lot of an Advanced Auto Parts. CP
@P161911 probably shoudn't have: I know who I shouldn't cut off...
