Sometimes the perception of what MIGHT happen is worse than what actually happens. Logically I know that at worst I’ll be ignored cause the others are just working out, but that fear rolls up.

Probably the stories about people shaming other people at gyms (like that woman who posted on Snapchat).  Thanks to the body image issues I have, I just jump to the worst case thing and that stops me.  But I’ve gotten some great advice as replies to what I posted.  So that’s a good thing.

I’m more for losing weight and getting somewhat in shape (have to get ready for the zombie apocalypse) so weight training isn’t a big thing.  I will look into what you mentioned though.  Thanks!

People aren’t supposed to trash the planet, but they do. People aren’t supposed to hate another because of skin color or sexuality, but they do. It might be marketed as a side gig, but some people see it as a way to make easy money. They don’t take into account the cost, they just see how much they can make.

I know it’s all in my head, but sometimes it’s difficult to get past that point..

I’m sure that what I described wouldn’t happen, but the fear is what keeps me back (that and no time). Maybe just walking around the parking lot at work is a good place to start for me.
