Yeah, I'd think you'd only do it if there was no other way.

More Damien Lewis!

I agree, but I was still sad to see it go.

While watching the 'first steps' video, I found myself saying out loud "You can do it! You can do it!" Precious.

I think this show sounds very interesting. I hope the execution is more serialized than procedural. I get tired of shows that wrap up what could turn out to be interesting, complex problems in one episode. I want long-term, over many episodes type drama!

I agree, but not just because of the duvet. The second half just feels more natural to me - some of the gestures make more sense in the second half than the first. For example, in the first half, they sit down at the table by letting go of each other's hand and backing into their chairs, which just looks unnatural

This is precious. It's "How to Romance Your Dragon" rather than the "How to Train.." variety.

Apparently, it's still not as cold as the "Ice Bowl" played in 1967, when at game start it was 13 degrees below freezing. Today is projected to be between 0 and 1 degree. All I can say is that I'm glad I can watch from the warmth of my living room.

I had actually stopped watching this show because of the 'formula', but now I'm intrigued. I didn't read the whole post because I didn't want to spoil it completely, but your description at the beginning is enough for me to pick this back up again.

Cocoon! I so love this movie, especially when they go out on the town and get into trouble after swimming in the pool. It's been years since I've seen it; now I need to re-watch it!

Not a bad thing to be known for...

Great!! Added to my 'to read' list on Goodreads.

I love that gif! The guy's reaction made me laugh. I'm envious, you seem to have a penguin gif for every occasion.

You're right. I guess they weren't including insects. Good thing - insects in documentaries give me nightmares.

I just saw a documentary yesterday on PBS that stated hippos were responsible for more human injuries and death in Africa than any other animal (besides human, of course). So glad that this didn't pan out.

I'm sure. Most wild animals are. Still can be admired from afar, right?

The definition of adorable! Penguins always delight me.

Ben shot the drone; I wept.

Well, I thought that was awesome. Now I'm seriously excited about all the movies coming out, especially Captain America, Jupiter Ascending, Winter's Tale and Edge of Tomorrow. I really like the music, and could not quite place it. Was that original, or pieced together as well?

Mine is 'gasp'. Seriously? That's a word I thought had surely been used for several hundred years. *cue the old age jokes now* LOL I'm really surprised this word was first used in 1968.
