A HANS device and full roll cage doesn’t meet FMVSS standards...

It’s a Jeep, there are no crumple zones. All energy goes right to the passengers.

Yes for head-on crashes, no for rear-endings.

yes rear-facing is probably safer.  Looks like with these though, they were not safely fastened to the vehicle.  Not to mention your kids are in the rear crumple zone, which is not good.

We had a Celebrity wagon with a rear facing third seat in the 90s. I was towing a tow dolly and was stuck in traffic when an impatient semi truck tried to switch lanes and clipped the tow dolly. One of my sons was in that rear-facing seat and still talks about how traumatizing that was. Maybe if we didnt have the

I rode in the trunk of a 1st gen Ford Probe more than once, and in the bed of many, many pickups as a child.

Oh I can’t wait for all the “we road rear facing as kids in xyz old car, back in the ancient past and survived” survivor bias stuff in the comments.

Remember when this very blog was taking shots at Toyota for their slow movement on BEVs?

Lets be honest, the new Prius design (I want a Prime so bad...) is akin to Haagan Dasz french vanilla bean. That shit will make you LOVE vanilla.

I'm an American and I know that classic white bread makes the best PB&J. Toyota knows this as well. They know vanilla ice cream sells and is essentially the base for all other ice cream flavors.

Not up market, not a coupe. What a weird headline.

“coupe”?

Remember when you could get a Legacy GT Wagon with a 5-Speed? Those were they days.

Plenty of people, stop being a dick and look outside once in a while.

Did you read the article?  He used the sign after he was unable to get any buyers from his online ads.

I love the people that have no contact info on the sign, usually at the end of some long rural driveway. Like I want to just walk up to some house in the country and knock on the door. That gets people shot these days.

So?  They aren’t hurting you.

Greedy idiots. He was actually willing to pay their BS ticket, but then they decided to see how much more they could shake out of his pockets.

As I have gotten older, I have learned to not let things bother me if I am going to never think about them again in 20 minutes. More people need to go back to not worrying about other peoples business.

Just wait until Temu starts clogging the local mailboxes with unsold EV’s.
