5 minutes later: just make it a CUV and don’t price it obnoxiously.

“as GM doesn’t think customers want to pay for the combined tech” Love that one, meanwhile Toyota has sold over 2.3MM Prius vehicles in the past 18 years. I won’t even take the time to add in all the other Hybrids they have sold during that time either. A very GM stance to take.

GM needs to kidnap a bunch of accountants and supply-chain managers from Toyota, lock them in a room with a Volt, and refuse to let them leave until they decide a plan to make building and selling Voltec powertrains profitable.

GM: There’s no money in hybrids or PHEVs.

Obviously it would be Torchinsk-E.

Every time I hear NART, I hear him saying it.

... one.

Sweet, now that names are back, we can get back to the cars Cadillac should be making:

Elmiraj sounds awesome.  Like stumbling upon a tropical oasis in the desert.

I’m in favor of bringing back naming, I’m not in favor of recycling names.  Look what they did to the poor Blazer and what Ford is doing to Mustang.  The last thing we want is for them to ruin an old name.  Better to try something new.

Maybe there’s still hope that they won’t name a future car Cadillac LaCadillac.

Now that’s a classy machine.

Thank God they didn’t actually produce that concept, or any of their other concepts, because I’d be about 84 months in debt right now otherwise.

Coupe d EV-ille

I’m gonna pretend that you said Cinnabon.

Cool and maybe they can badge them with the torque rating in ounce inches too

Yes. I have a friend who gets paid rather well to track and interpret car buying data with regards to brand loyalty. The average new car buyer either keeps the same brand over and over, or switches and never returns to that brand creating a new loyalty.

What?! Profits on cars?! That’s not how you do it!

What a boring and dumb way to go about getting into a 4-8 year loan.

1st: Especially when you consider the replacement vehicles. The Trax and Ec(h)osport are the worst of the worst. I genuinely want to know why people buy them other than MURICA. Neither are class leading, good looking, nor built in the USA. Plus Hyundai has a better warranty. Financing can’t be that much better, can
