Debatable. Lose your professional license and you can still drive to flip burgers.

“Yee-Haw ‘Murica!!!!!!!!

Yes but that is related to operating/owning a motor vehicle. Student loans are completely unrelated to driver’s licenses, other than you’ll need one to get to work in order to pay off your loan.

The next pressing issue for the SD Legislature: Why are soup kitchens giving away food for free? If they charged for a meal, not only could they turn a profit but they could funnel that money into the state coffers!

Yes. All 12 of them.

Mr. Johnson, nice to see you. I here you’re having trouble paying your bills.. Let me just.. yoink. There you go. No car. That help?

Non-payment of debt is mostly a civil issue. License Revelation is a criminal punishment. The punishment doesn’t fit the crime.

This is the most self defeating bullshit I have ever seen.

There are people in South Dakota with higher education loans?

That is horrible, so you can’t find a job or make enough to pay off the loan right now.

“Having trouble paying your student loans? FUCK YOU, HAVE SOME MORE!”

What state would abbreviate its own name on the goddamn plates?

We have weird plate rules. This is a description for making a temporary plate in the event that yours is lost or stolen:

In MA you are not allowed to modify your plates at all. Even people with their ancient green and white plates are not allowed to spruce them up, so that’s why you see people driving around with these fucking things:

Really, if the car is registered, and the plate displays the correct number and has tags, this should be legal.

Hopkinton Police department offered some advice to anyone thinking about making their own license plates:

just the other day I saw a Delaware abbreviated plate like this

The difference you are ignoring is that touch screens require that you actually look at the screen while you are using it. That’s a no-go while driving, as the increase in driving while distracted accidents, caused by people texting on their phones, shows.

Using a touchscreen that is already in place for other reasons and doing a bit of programming is cheaper than adding a $0.30 knob per car.
