It’s $27 for the entire term for comprehensive, $100 deductible on my beater Cavalier. That’s worth it to me if it got destroyed by nature or stolen.

Ohio and surrounding states for sure. We haven’t had $3 gas in a long time. I don’t think even PA/MD and others are that high. Even over the thanksgiving holiday it was as low as $2.19

You mean stuck open.

I still can’t get on board with the “iPad glued to the dash” interior styling kick several manufacturers are currently doing.

I could rattle off the same for Ford. Every company has shitty products. Even Honda was terrible in the early 2000s, their transmissions couldn’t handle the increased torque from their redesigned V6s and they blew up prematurely. Every person I knew with an Odyssey from that time frame had at least one replacement

Yeah, they’re in the monthly payment, but you calculated paying off $48k in $800 increments, which doesn’t factor in interest. Some of that $800 each month is going to interest and not paying down the principle balance of $48k.

Boring has some advantages... I’ve gotten away with far more in a blueish-greenish CTS-V than I did in any other car. It just doesn’t draw attention from the authorities.

This. Limited data points are not reflective of the whole.

Don’t forget interest. My wife’s were over 9% until I refinanced them. If this person started with crap credit or no cosigner, they could be even higher.

That’s what I was thinking. I would do something like this while waiting for a replacement plate if mine was stolen. I’d probably print and laminate though cause I know my handwriting sucks.

Hopefully he’ll find a better spouse next time.

This. People able and willing to drop $40k on a sedan are going to be looking at BMW, Audi, Mercedes, and other luxury or near luxury brands. They aren’t going to go “ooh, let’s get a Kia”.

Surprisingly, Ohio. Everyone says the cops here are bad, but you just have to know what to expect. If you pass a cop at more than 5 over, good chance you’ll get pulled over.

Makes me glad undercover cops cannot enforce traffic laws in my state. Completely forbidden.

Right. They wouldn’t know what to do with any actual problems.

That would require thinking and not just going straight for “the ‘utes are ruining everything! Rabble rabble!”.

Especially Ocean City.

I suspect this as well. And the fact the city tries so hard and gets all uppity just eggs them on more. Like when they went into a manhunt because a ~100lb teenager stood on a parked cop car. They wanted to go after him for criminal damaging and a bunch of other trumped up BS. His scrawny ass isn’t heavy enough to

Or not have the market/buyers for EVs dry up at least...
