Who is the guy in the green McLaren with Evans?
I once tested the Dart with the 1.4T and a stick - it was awful, completely undriveable in the city. No power under 3k RPM, then all the power came at once and you hit the redline immediately. Pulling away from a light was a huge pain, had to basically plan 3-4 seconds ahead. It still bogged and didn’t want to move,…
I have the same view, but backup cams are mandatory by 2018 (and the cameras are really cheap), traction control costs close to $0 assuming the car has ABS. The new safety crap (auto-brake, lane warning, blind spot) is what will get you. I have a feeling that crap is going to become mandatory in new cars in the next…
I’ll take Windows anyday over Mac. I worked on some macs this weekend, they just aren’t user friendly when you need to customize stuff for a specific use. Hell, changing the resolution alone took a while. On Windows, it’s 4 clicks. When I plugged a USB mouse into the mac, it wanted me to go through a “Keyboard Setup…
What? PCs are equally if not more long term friendly as Macs. My laptop is 10 years old and works great. Could easily handle Windows 10, if I wanted Windows 10 lol. 7 works fine so I’ve never upgraded past it.
Same in my midwestern/atlantic area. They drive like crazy people. Pretty sure I get better mpg in a non-hybrid than most prius owners do because I don’t drive like a rabid squirrel.
I think I would fall asleep as soon as I got in it, so bland and boring. Unless seeing the hideous exterior horrified me so much that it kelp me awake while inside lol.
Glad we don’t have anything like that in my state. You pay 100% of the sales taxes upon transferring the title, after that only cost is annual registration.
It’s fair to test the seller, but also the inspection is only as good as the shop you take it to. I took a private sale car to the dealer for that make expecting them to know the car better, but the inspection was useless. I pointed out more things wrong with it than their techs did. It had a SRS light on at the time,…
Wow. That is god awful. That alone would rule the car out for me, even despite my interest in the radar-cruise control and lane keeping stuff. If you’re not going to give me a volume knob, at least give me physical buttons!
WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW DOUG?
Look at askar1212's post above.
At least it is two buttons, not a single one that’s supposed to do both functions.
Same thing for a 95 Taurus I once owned. Turn everything off, kick down the automatic trans gear selector, floor it. Mostly made more noise, little change in actual speed.
Now, if only there was a button to get out of the grey! That’d be the ticket. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
Really? I was excited when the prototype was at the car show a few years ago (it had no interior). Then the finished version hit. I was immediately disappointed by the interior.
Yeah, and it’s not like they hid that it was a Honda. Pretty sure the engine in my friend’s Integra had “Honda” stamped on the top of the engine lol.
They did. The ILX is a civic with a price penalty.
Some newer cars (not sure how widely) have electric vacuum boosters to keep vacuum pressure where it needs to be. They can run even when the engine is not running.
