I bet automatics have better start stop than manuals... I rented a manual recently (overseas where people still know how to shift gears) and there was a learning curve! There are a few criteria... I unbuckled and it wouldn’t restart and a few other things. Besides my screwups, it worked awesome.

the only thing shocking about Tesla semi’s range is the +/- 50% on the range in quoted by the Ryder guy... I bet this off hand comment is not 100% final...

the highway engineers who put that guardrail in front of the bridge to protect it from the truck are the real heros!
