It was way down the list too far to make it, but fucking damn, this story by dthedestroyer13 almost made me shit myself. And I tend to lie on the skeptic side of all this.

I am glad they didn’t pick the one with the picture, because I don’t need to see that shit again. I am telling myself it was just photoshop. Please don’t post pics of your ghosts which will terrify me at 1 am in the morning! Rude.

I just finished the book “Spook” by Mary Roach (10/10 would recommend) and have been thinking alot about what the afterlife might be like, if in fact there is one. Like, maybe some part of our consciousness survives and we are left with eternity to ruminate on either all the shifty stuff we did or the wonderful,

I just spent a glorious hour reading the terrifying stories someone linked to on reddit about all the creepy shit a Search and Rescue officer supposedly encountered during his career. And I suddenly remembered something that used to scare the piddle out of me. And I’m gonna talk about it here because it stands a

WHY?! Why would you even mention that story?!

My grandmother’s brother had a story like that. Back in the 60’s, he was going to town late at night to pick up his son from work. His wife was tired and didn’t want to go with him, so he went alone. Driving on the county roads not too far from where they lived, he saw a woman on the side of the road. After he had

The close call with John Wayne Gacy blew me away.

Shit this is scary as fuck

Wait, so he DIDN’T call for you to come with the baby???

#2 spooky story...this one DID happen to me. I don’t believe it’s ghost related, but perhaps something else.

I was raised in a STEM household in a small rural town. We were at least an hour away from any “major” cities in the state, but close to some smaller ones. My mother majored in physics, minored in astronomy,

House on Lake Erie

The women in my family are a mixed bag of crazy. We see, hear, sense, and dream odd things. So trying to write about one really scary story is very hard because every house I’ve lived in was either haunted, or became haunted due to the presence of my mother and I. This story is 100% true- hand to bible-.

I’ve posted this before, but what the hell:

Okay so, I’m not superstitious & have only experienced 2 creepy things that I’ve since attributed to sleep paralysis. But this is true & still makes me shudder, and if you do a little detective work on La Google, the facts can be verified as the aftermath was national news last year.

I’ve been waiting years to tell this story on this thread, from waaaaaay back when I was a nameless lurker. (well I still kind of am :))

This is the story of the two times my father came face to face with a serial killer.
