Yeah I apparently don’t know enough about how this works to understand why corporations threaten to fire you as soon as anyone mentions a union. The way I understood it, if you form a union or join an existing one, the union then has to negotiate the employment terms with the corporation. It isn’t as if the terms are

I don’t give a shit about the race one way or another, I just don’t think it will have much of an impact on an economy like LV’s.

It’s Las Vegas, their entire economy is already setup around tourism for both the wealthy and the not so wealthy. This one race is not going to make a bit of difference to local employers and their people.

Correct, the mod was not used by either of the players but instead by the spectator user that was streaming the match.

My wife is watching it without me, as I checked out after season 2. I really hated the new relationships they developed for Ciri with Triss and especially Yennefer. And this is coming from someone who hated Yennefer in the books.

Agreed, don’t interview the celebrities whether they want to be or not.  Fans of the sport don’t actually care about what they think anyways.

You’re thinking of two different scenes. In Empire Strikes Back when Yoda says to Obi-Wan “no, there is another”, neither of them were talking about Jedi specifically, Obi-Wan just said that Luke was their last hope. In Return of the Jedi as Yoda is dying he tells Luke “when I die, the last of the Jedi will you be”,

I just hate the way they approach the issue. It mostly stems from Yoda’s line about Luke being the last of the Jedi, so there are tons of little loopholes used in the writing for why there are all these “not Jedi” running around doing Jedi shit.

There are a lot of things about F1 that I love, but the actual race is usually pretty boring to watch on TV, I can’t imagine how bad it is in person with such a limited view in the sweltering heat.  Qualifying is the only part of the sport I enjoy watching anymore.

This was the case with Half-Life 2, nearly twenty years ago. Buy a physical copy and you were required to install a weird little app called Steam to fully install the game.

Years later, I can’t think of a single nice thing to say about BoTW. I played for days, and just never felt any real connection with the game. It never clicked, it never actually felt like a Zelda game, it never excited me.

None of those look particularly real to me.

How much is a touch bigger? Will that amount bring it within the range of what is deemed to be an acceptable waistline? Who gets to decide what an acceptable waistline is? Will there still be people outside of that range that complain about the restriction? Will the increased size make the ride slower and less

Because it’s all theatre, they aren’t in the least bit sorry for their actions. This is just more publicity for them so they crank up the drama, knowing full well that their target audience will eat it up.

Well the Dent quote is kind of a paraphrase of one from Nietzsche:

They have to go with something more human than the Space Marines to start with, like an Inquisitor or a Rogue Trader. I think that also gives the audience perspective to start with, seeing how horrific the galaxy is for an ordinary human. It would give the later introduction of an Astartes as a member of the main

That’s definitely how growth works when you’re both fighting for the same market Phil.

I agree with you, but I honestly would expect nothing more from a company whose greatest claim to fame is a tool designed to alter photographs.

Only thing that bothered me about the trailer is that Mario seemed like a bumbling idiot through pretty much all of it.  There might only be a few scenes like that in the movie but in the trailer it feels like a lot, time will tell.
