As someone who has played Destiny since it came out, I promise you it isn’t even in the top 20 of best story driven live service games. 

Putting Barbie and The Batman in the same breath as Dune undercuts your entire argument. Both those films are trash. They have good bits, but they were moving us into a downward spiral like we saw early 2000 films. Dune is a course correct.

Feel like they should be better at wording things like this better. This just sends a message to consumers to stop buying your product because you are about to release something new. 

The big problem is dancing around tropes. The biggest one is “kill your gays” that writers try to tip toe around because the community comes down so hard.

Yeah except most modern games leave all that stuff out now to avoid any controversary or getting pinned for playing one way or the other. It kind of takes a while to see how her kit works/pays off, but when you get there is so rewarding to watch a villain start their turn, watch the card flip a few times and then they fall over dead.

I can’t believe this game missed the mark so bad. I was reminded the other day of the truely excellent Suicide Squad animated movie that was in the same universe as the Arkham games. Makes me wonder if they got so high off their own supply with how well that movie did they thought their real creative power was in SS.

The Pity system is really forgivable. If you decide to go for every other banner character, you can make it happen just by playing through all the content in the game.
