They already did with FFX-2. All 3 of the main playables were female - and it was an excellent game

I want them to go retro-future with this technology and start making robo-mounts (pretty much what they already have but with a saddle) so I can ride/drive to school in style.

I thought the whole point of the 'Big Dog' was moving past traditional wheel-based movement. Probably some quadruped or bipedal with big-ass guns on them like these:

Virus -> Strigoi.
Worm -> Connection to the Master + Strogoi.

I got this game dirt cheap for $10. Totally worth $10. Not one bit disappointed that I got my value from the game.
