“What is sinister and what we shouldn’t tolerate is the idea that local councils can decide how often you go to the shops and that they ration who uses the roads and when, and they police it all with CCTV.””

Conservatives getting mad about a thing they made up entirely, entry #4234314 in a series.

I wish the sci-fi future we’d all hoped for hadn’t turned out to be so desperately stupid.

Another poster beat me to it, but this is a problem with an already-existing solution.  We can’t just allow them to create serious hazards to all other drivers on the road behind them.

This is a deeply weird persona you’ve created for this single purpose here.  I hope you can get the help you clearly need.

Hey, this is great and much-needed

Well yeah, especially since he played it again.

Potential issue: if he gets even dumber, how exactly would we be able to tell?

Any other planet, perhaps.  Not wide swathes of this one.

Seems like Elon going into a persistent vegetative state would be the best possible thing for all of these companies.

While I’m guessing the cockpit voice recorder likely wouldn’t add all that much of substance to the investigation (perhaps a number of “what the fuck was that”s and some “mayday mayday”s), it still seems like having only two hours of time before the tape rolls over is needlessly limiting.

Yeah, I really like all these “normal” features (other than the lack of frunk), so if they can unfuck their software issues I’ll be seriously interested in one of these.

Maybe it sounds better in the original Russian?

If the only real difference is less sodium, then Blue Heat is the healthy version!  I’m going to eat more of them now.

The higher-ups at Warner Brothers certainly cared that the guy who made The Suicide Squad made a good movie.

I don’t think the DCEU’s problem was the casting - for the most part (Affleck definitely included) it was good-to-great.  Which probably is part of the reason it was overall so very, very disappointing.

The only one of these I’ve had is the Smartfood/Doritos crossover, and it’s tremendous. They should find a way to make it a permanent collaboration.

With the proliferation of Cheeto/Dorito flavoring to other food/snack products, eventually they’re going to just start selling shakers of the dust itself, right?  I’d love

Beck Bennett was another good Glue Guy, and I think James Austin Johnson is easing into that role now quite well.

I don’t think I agree - the Injustice Superman snapped because he was so connected with humanity and so devastated when he lost everything he’d loved and protected.  Showing him as disconnected from the start would undermine that.

Re #2, yeah, whatever else his shortcomings, he can put together an absolutely gorgeous shot like few others.  If someone could put him on a movie and give him zero story control or input, and zero script control or input and just have him purely on shot composition, he’d be very well-suited for it.
