On the gripping hand”

I thought I was the only one nerdy enough to have ever made that reference, until now.

We should be so lucky.

Have a sufficient number of people noted that you obviously failed to read the article yet, or will one more help?

That there is no bigger group of suckers than right-wingers who actually fucking went for this “hey, instead of buying one movie ticket, why not buy two?” thing.

You know what’s funniest about this comments section?  The startling number of comments exactly like Patricia’s that are clearly written by some Trumpist dummy that heard about this article in a Facebook handwringing group and came here to register burner accounts under their real names to be mad about it.

I think the astroturfing aspect is somewhat surprising, although less so since it’s a right-wing thing than it might have been otherwise.

It’s impressive that relative to those three, he’s 1) done tremendous damage to the platform itself by firing almost everybody, 2) done tremendous damage to the user base in a variety of ways, and 3) is now finishing the trifecta by nuking the brand.

Between the headline and the lead image, I really thought this article was going to be about some rude NASA transporters mocking an innocent asteroid sample, and thought that seems a bit mean for NASA.

The parenthetical hurts your point more than you think it does.

And there was a pretty successful federal governmental program that got those lines into the ruralist of rural areas, too.

Or the “Canyonero” memorably sung of on The Simpsons in 1998.

Literally half an hour before my family and I went to see the movie, I had installed a bottle opener on the garage wall next to the beer fridge, and I felt very seen during that portion of the film.

Who claimed it was?

Goddamn, that’s a good burn.

The Earth getting hit by a splash of loosened boulders instead of a much larger asteroid still seems like a vastly-better outcome to me.
