Ha, exactly the image that came to me too when he did that.

These universes have Spider-People - who’s to say at least some of them don’t also have Avengers!
“surely both Barry Allens can defeat Zod”
I vote it should be “Barrys Allen”.
Saying “I’m cool” isn’t punk! But refusing to conform to the artificial boundaries of what’s punk and what isn’t punk is very punk!
Definitely a case of “okay, if she chose him over me, I totally get it.”
“For the record, I quit” is a great parting shot. Hobie rules!
If there’s one thing true of all the various types of Spider-People/Objects, it’s that they’re pretty accomplished at webbing people up without doing them too much permanent harm if they don’t want to.
Can’t wait for conservatives to get mad at him because the film explicitly states he is anti-fascist.
I’m not saying 42 Peter Parker is going to be powered, just that Miles might believe he’s someone he can trust.
My fondest hope is that part of the resolution of the Universe 42 plot is going to be 1610 Miles finding 42's Peter Parker to help him out somehow.
Yeah, for that first question the answer is “just look at the device’s history and see where the last transmission went.”
“I really hope it’s a ruse.”
Or the “police” part is a red herring and it’s actually Captain America whose death will matter!
Agreed on the Miles 42 question - the better question is going to be how his non-powered self is going to last even ten seconds against Spider-Man Miles once he gets over his initial shock.
Anyone white in the neighborhood, that is.
Then presumably Leopardon as well!
Since Movie Miles is explicitly from universe 1610, which was the Ultimate universe, I guess Bagley’s USM was the Chris Pine one who died!
It’s 100% this.
Huh, I definitely noticed that the start seemed way too quiet (or at least much quieter than my local theater usually is), but soon enough my ears/brain adjusted and I didn’t have problems hearing during the rest of the movie. Thankfully. Glad to learn it wasn’t just my imagination, though.
“Saudi Arabia where they know that growing a water intensive crop like Alfalfa in the desert is a stupid idea.”
They know that it’s a stupid idea to grow it in their desert, so they grow it in someone else’s instead.
Yeah, that was my favorite as well. Also I was loving the hell out of the brief snippets we got of Andy Samberg as Ben Reilly in full 90s XXXTREME cliche mode.
