“deflect”
Sure, but after that the word got around that this kid was insane, man.
I mean, look at the conversation with Maggie Frear (in the middle of the article), who astonishingly first seems to acknowledge that there’s no way Trump can do the things he promises, and then at the end goes ““But I like him,” Frear reiterated. “Because he does what he says.””
I’m torn, because on the one hand it is absolutely stupid of them, which is bad, and on the other it does create just that much more misery in their lives, which is good.
I appreciate that a big part of it is that they’ve seemingly given up all pretense that their support of Trump was ever about anything other than sheer antipathy toward people who are not like them.
Next time you’re at their house, put a parental lock on Fox News.
Yeah, I really hope the writer was recording that conversation, because there’s no way those people won’t be denying that they said this. Hell, the husband tried to deny it in the moment in the first place!
Strong username/post combo here.

I agree. Given the outsize contributions of Fox News to the total political deterioration of America (not to mention Iraq), there’s really no single person more responsible for our current low state. Reading his obituary will be a genuine pleasure some day.
So, in retrospect how do you think this went for you?
“Catlett was 69 years old.”
Nice.
I love the times when a moon or some coins are hidden beneath the ground with no visual indicator whatsoever, but only a little rumble to let you know something’s there. I don’t know if other games have done something like that before, but it’s the first time I’ve encountered it, and it’s a cool incorporation of a…
Did you play it on the Wii U? If not, absolutely definitely 100% get it. If you did, then only get it if having a much-improved Battle Mode is worth it to you, or for the sheer convenience of just having it on the newer system. (Spoiler: I did buy it again for both of these reasons.)
