BttF 2 is secretly and easily the best of the films if you watch them back-to-back-to-back.  However, it definitely lost some luster when Biff Tannen 1985A got elected President in the real world.

Creative like “revealing that one of the characters was missing some of those energy bolts on purpose in order to actually write runes on the giant walls” creative?  Or creative like “both characters realize that flinging energy bolts isn’t doing much and instead resolve their fight by discussing the Ship of Theseus”…

Absolutely.  The only joke that might take you a second is a  couple of cameos from the original show, and rest assured, they make it completely clear and obvious when it happens.

That became clear the instant we saw White Vision last week.  Have to give him respect for a troll that fucking effective!  Masterful.
