Disagree with the editor. The first figure was the accurate one.

Yeah, after this episode I think the casting is more of a stunt, but that he’s a genuine Pietro. Just not the MCU one or the Fox one. She yanked a Pietro from a universe right next door that was just a little bit different.
Yeah, I’m leaning toward him being a Pietro, but not necessarily the Fox X-Men Pietro (Peter). He could be from the proverbial “universe next door” where it’s almost like the MCU’s but slightly different, rather than the completely different Fox continuity.
I do wonder if maybe he put in a word with Disney, such as “get her the fuck out of here” or something along those lines.
Sadly, I am not. But I’ll also dig it out again at some point, because when we’re able to have parties again someday I had discovered that it was awesome to just set it up in a room with Mario Kart 8 and tell all the kids at the party “go in there.” They would, they’d have a ball, and the grownups would be left to…
My feeling was always that 3D World really did take the best elements of the 2D and 3D Marios and combine them perfectly.
Literally waiting for it since the day I bought the system, partially because I am one of the few who had the Wii U and wanted the rest of the world to actually get to experience this truly great game. Also because I can now finally put the Wii U into full storage for good.
“and the fact that I’m really not that good at platformers, small frustrations like in the article would easily render this unplayable for me.”
My kids were in the 4-7 range for the Wii U version and made their ways through it just fine, with the occasional boost from dad. You’ll be just fine too.
Same here, and with the added bonus that it’s incredibly family-friendly, the “bubble” mechanic working to make it an absolute blast to play with littler kids. I would say that Mario Odyssey did improve his movements overall, but that’s not a knock on 3DWorld in any way.
“I’ve found a lot of video game music more forgettable. The simpler tunes of the 8- and 16-bit eras find a way to latch on to your brain and never let go.”
I don’t know; this may be a simple function of the fact that it’s easier to remember a simple tune than a complex one.
“We, as a society, do not deserve Alfred Matthew Yankovic. He’s like Dolly Parton, or Tom Hanks,”
Amen.
“Why is this article about the thing it is about?”
When Moana came out I was (if my math is right) a 39M and I cried through the whole damn thing.
Nobody remembers The Prince of Egypt (except you and I, apparently) and it’s a damned shame. I don’t actually recall the whole thing very well apart from liking it back then, but I do remember that the Passover scene with the Angel of Death flitting from house to house was truly chilling and masterfully done.
Although in Shrek’s defense, getting one’s assed kicked by Pixar in the animation department is not really that distinguishing, since the examples of movies that didn’t are few and far between.
I’m not suggesting she’s going to suddenly appear on the show or anything, but she was definitely still on Earth for Tony’s funeral, and after getting there post-Snap in the first place likely would have checked on her loved ones during the “Five Years Later”, learning that Lt. Danger had been among the victims. So it…
Sure, and I was mostly being silly in the first place. But there’s a reason they made the SWORD agent Monica Rambeau rather than just a random SWORD agent.
We don’t know quite how long after Endgame Wandavision is taking place - I’d definitely assume that she got filled in on the basics either before or certainly after reporting back to work.
It wasn’t mentioned, but it stands to reason when it was one of the smartest people on the planet doing the unSnapping, and he did hint that it was more than an instant for him when he mentioned that he’d really tried to bring Natasha back.
And he did eventually learn close-up magic!
