I always love that - “in order to go fight against the evils of socialism I’m going to need you all to band together and each contribute what you are able to!”

Their children Brayden, Jaden, Aiden, and Kayden take offense at your brash generalizing, I’m sure.

Speaking of balls-out insane, the peak moment of Gremlins 2 insanity/genius (impossible to distinguish in this case) has to be the 4th-wall-breaking bit, which these crazy motherfuckers did entirely differently for each medium into which they put the thing.  Theatrical release, later VHS release, and the damn

I’ve never seen 48 Hours, but holy shit, after watching that scene now I really want to.  That was magnificent.

“Rand Paul, senator and famed prick, is on the mend after contracting covid-19, “
Damn.

Yeah, I guess I should have clarified my language as meaning things “he’s” done, not necessarily the whole picture around him.

19-year-old me will, uh, be in my room for a little while here.

It seemed deliberately over-the-top to me, so I loved it.

For that same reason, here’s my tip: when I want wings I get them from a place that specializes and is better than me at making them.  Totally worth it.

Count me in the “prefer AA” group.  Years ago I wouldn’t have thought I’d end up there, but after Eneloop there’s no comparison in my mind anymore.  When my wireless controller runs dry, in fifteen seconds it can be back up and running and still wireless, rather than having to plug in or go back on a cradle.

Yes, and the point is that “point” is not particularly meaningful.
