After today’s previews from Bob Woodward, I do think that the question of whether anyone is actually showing him anything truly classified is a good one.  Still, never let him see any official document again either way.

I was thinking the other week in the kerfuffle about revoking security clearances that once he’s out his clearance will absolutely have to be yanked immediately.

I loved it from the very start, not just on its own merits but because I happened to be in a Shakespeare class that semester in college when seeing it in the theater.  I had possibly a greater appreciation for it at that specific time than I would have any earlier, or ever since.

If we had to have someone play the former character of James Earl Jones, we could do a lot worse than Wendell Pierce, and in the books Jack Ryan was literally an Office guy who kept semi-accidentally getting into active operations. I’m going to give this a shot.

It’s not even “shared universe”, the books are a direct line in a series.  What you’re saying is like saying “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi” are a shared universe.
