It wasn't "my" chart,it was the first one I found and didn't check every line. A lot of the cars on there weren't considered musclecars 10-15 years ago, when I was into it heavy. They must have lowered the standards for the same reason I just copied the chart and posted it,and went outside to work on something. They

I doubt Google would stoop to something so Mid West-ern. We can only hope he has a cranky neighbor that grew up in Kansas City. Substitute a huge bloody steak for the Garand, and it's over.

Websters is an esteemed collector car expert, no doubt. And these definitions are kinda lax to GTO fanatics...

Just stupid stuff like owning them. Restoring them. Actually DRIVING them..Forget it, It's "Old Skool" stuff.

As a heart attack.

Look up the definition of "Muscle Car". Other than the Boss 429, Mustangs aren't. And this isn't even a Mustang.

I don't know about "Worse". the Surveillance State is here to stay. Threaten these clowns with some gluten or fatty red meat and they will trample each other running in terror.

Is that a bomb-collar? Pinch us some pennies! No pressure,Mary, and just don't tamper with it.

I don't do Twitter. For those that do, is there some way we jalops can get together and enter Justin Bieber like 50 million times over to win?

I am not fat.

Could be, my memory isn't what it was,and that wasn't great. I was so in lust with that car,I would have traded everything I owned for it with a worn out 396 in it. The yellow 32 was awesome, but Bob Falfa's 55 was always the one that made me pitch tents watching Graffiti. That, and Frog's 58. Crap I'm old.

Wow, yeah, that's a little nuts. Still found a way to keep a stranger's grubby mitts off the nether regions of your ride though, didn't ya? Right on.

OOOOHHHH!!!!!!

I don't know, that 55 was pretty nasty. 427 w/2/4's on a tunnel ram, if I remember right. Same car was in "Two Lane Blacktop", they painted it black for AG.

Safety is an illusion no matter what you drive. Make the 59 a 2 door, and I'd rather take my chances in it than die of certain boredom and/or chastity in that lousy Malibu.

Dear General Motors..You may have forgotten, but didn't you make a few cars we loved long ago???

Safety is an illusion. I drive big loud old steel framed American cars just to make those bed-wetters nervous. Also, because V8.

" Sure, there's plenty of old cranks out there who lament the passing of the carburetor while pounding their fist on a bad O2 sensor housing."....So, my ability to tune a 4, 6, or 8 barrel setup correctly makes me an "Old Crank"? I hate to break it to you, but most "car enthusiasts" were clueless about how to make a

Hey,I didn't make it up. Classic GTO nuts in particular will throw down over this stuff. Both cars you mention kick ass,and will go around a corner better than their B block relatives. They just aren't Musclecars by the standard definition. It's a real thing.. Pre 1973 is another criteria.

No,it is not. There is a criteria to meet to be a "Muscle Car",and just being fast isn't enough. People today think it is just a meaningless term like "Hemi" has become. First one is simple-No factory Big-Block V8=not a muscle car.
