Damn,as much as I want to like this car -Crack Pipe. Just too much money for a car you would have to undo a lot of shoddy looking mods to drive anywhere. And they could have swapped in a different motor to start with, and had a decent car for a lot less headaches.Even a stock Ford 4.6 V8 would scoot this thing right

"I also led a medical equipment team that outperformed stateside manufs. production yields on their _first_ try".... And if it was bed pans and tongue depressors, 75% of them worked, and_ no_ one _died.

They did, until the late 70's. So did Buick and Oldsmobile. very few parts interchanged. Then everything used corporate GM motors.(Chevrolet). Cheaper to produce that way. I was just wondering if Toppins was complaining about later, non Pontiac engines.

To 60's poncho fans, they stopped being even watered down Pontiacs when they stopped using Pontiac engines.1979. And 301 V8's never counted to begin with.

What "Pontiac" cranks are you talking about?

That'll brush right out.....

Even the title is better than ..say.. Shark-Nado!

There must have been a Suzuki watching. A Kawasaki would rather die a horrible death than show fear or weakness in front of them.

oops

The setting and story would make for a great British Christine type horror movie premise. How do we know they didn't go all predatory down there in the dark, unloved? (Or,I spend way too much time over at I09).

Believe it or not, charcoal actually worked for me,once. I had an old W123 Benz, with the lousy slo-glow system, and one winter the block heater quit on me when it was around -20 for weeks during the holidays in the midwest. My trusty 77' Scout was in the warm garage, with it's rear Dana 44 scattered (again),so Ilsa had

Why even bother with the car? Imagine how much more pointless, obsolete by next month electronic crap you could buy if you didn't have to pay for the stupid mechanical bits and the metal-ish box they ship them in?

"pot heads who love impulsive travel deals."? So...They have a target demographic of about 3, 2 of whom are on probation and cant travel cause they forgot the blunt in their coat pocket at the airport? C'mon, I have seen serious potheads eat ketchup sandwiches rather than go down to the Quicktrip for munchies.

You got lucky. Many don't..$200 just doesn't buy much in the way of dependability or build quality. They exist exactly for the reasons you bought one.But what are the odds this clown bought his new, legally to protect home & family because that was what he could afford after bills were paid? Stolen is the norm, and

Even a scumbag carjacker type should be very concerned with people knowing he owned a lousy Hi-Point, possibly more than being arrested or even shot by police. The other dregs of society are picking on him right now.

I've worked on Chryslers, and I've worked on Fiats. Time to buy Pick N Pull stock.

Not if you know the slick tricks....Don't tell anyone, but all my vacuum tubes are filled with NOS.

Yep.Have lived on both sides of KC for 30 years.Only thing that changes is the plates on the cars. I love the people that break down or get stuck on hills, leave the car blocking the road even on DRY PAVEMENT. Because gravity is not in effect once your touchscreen goes dark,or it's not in the direction you were

Nope.Nope.Nope. I will drive actual MECHANICAL cars till the day I die.

Looks like a Lego Fuego. Whats not to like?
