Having dealt with unapologetic blackout drunks, just because you don’t remember, doesn’t mean that I don’t remember.

I am dying to know what that 2% of people saying it “some other way” is.

No one does elite entitlement quite like a GOP populist.

No, the turkey wrap is some stimulus checks and empty symbolic language about Black Lives Mattering while student loans or healthcare get to keep being the same predatory nightmare they’ve always been.

They could run such a platform, but unfortunately American politics are like eating at an airport. There’s trash fast food that kills you, and a flavorless turkey wrap that isn’t what anybody actually wants.

I’m not pro-abortion. Pro-abortion means that I want people to have abortions. I have no opinion on whether people should have abortions or shouldn’t have abortions. That’s my entire point. It’s none of my business. I’m not the one making the decision that will affect their lives so profoundly. The decision belongs

I was raised conservative, am very leftist now, and as a PR professional, leftists make me want to bash my head against a wall almost constantly. Our messaging is AWFUL - it’s not the only reason we lose elections, but it’s a big factor.

I like mine, I use it in the morning and regular floss in the evening just in case. Seems to work well so far.

There’s a serious issue with how we handle grading in this country which is ludicrously racist and classist. Grades and GPAs are structured to reward certain groups over others and it really needs to be stopped.

There’s a bit of an issue with grades these days, though. They’ve been emphasized so much that people forget the purpose of school is to teach skills, not to reach arbitrary goals.

I loathe the gamification of education. Not all kids are competitive and earning badges is and extrinsic goal and not an indication of real learning.

The pay it forward thing has always been the dumbest thing imaginable. It’s performative charity for people who don’t need it. Want to feel good? Donate time or money to an actual cause. Or, as this article wisely suggests, tip the workers.

Yeah, I certainly can't find any comments they made in support of, say, Ilan Omar when she was facing backlash for wearing a head covering in Congress. Wonder what the difference could be?

No. This take is right in line with the notion that all women have to support each other. If any male congressman was wearing novelty ties or bizarrely casual, loud outfits to vote bills into law we would be making fun of them. We made fun of Tucker Carlson’s bowties and trump’s suits. Sinema is here for all of the

1) news coverage about the fashion and hairstyles of Boris Johnson and Donald Trump are numerous. If these three authors didn’t know that, which I doubt, then they’ve got bigger problems. Susan Collins herself mocked a GOP House Member for being physically unattractive and dressing like a slob, which was true.

Yeah, this definitely feels like they’re being targeted for trying to be the adult in the room. It’s the exact same kind of reactionary conservative response to discussions of safe injection sites for addicts or prison reform for the incarcerated. “These are garbage people who should rot! Who cares about their

“Definitively proving” masks “work” to slow the spread of Covid would be unethical. All we can do is rely on what data we do have available, all of which shows that masks seem to be effective at reducing transmission. On the other hand, there is zero downside to you wearing a mask, unless you are one of the very rare

I broke down and bought Michael Cohen’s book. It’s absolutely riveting.
