I know you’re looking for a different answer, but nope. It’s not to me. I think they thought it sounded encouraging. These are young girls and they didn’t have a PR person looking over their quote choices. I think their intentions here are good.
So, this happened to be at a Christian school. Anything other than “tipster who grew up in this culture” indicate these girls’ motives weren’t genuine? Let’s not attack them for what would be a Jezebel gold star at a public school.
See, I took it the funnier way- that he “allegedly” fell in love with Miranda...that there’s no proof, as they’ve split now, so it’s like he never DID fall in love. I really hope it’s my way, because I love the Jez indignation that comes when a celebrity/fictional couple splits.
