I was thinking about his civil rights activism. To me, it seems that it all worked to serve men. He fought for sexual freedom (for men to freely enjoy women), he fought for women to get the pill (so that pregnancies wouldn’t hinder men’s sexual activities with women and men wouldn’t have to worry about being

Are those the same people who consider the Easter Bunny to be a real bunny?

she wasn’t sure, he was “sure”, so he pushed his way in, right?? it’s healthy.

Thank you! It wasn’t even just that one story...so much of that conversation, what they’re talking about and how he says it, is completely fucked up.

Does Somerhalder assume people will find this story charming because he’s not ugly? Because it contains at least 3 of the warning signs of abuse in the booklet my doctor gave me at my first prenatal visit.

At this point the question in my mind is WHY Trump Tower was NOT wiretapped..kinda sounds like it would have been justified.

I am really, REALLY hoping he’s got shit on McConnell and Ryan.

I will love him forever if he gives incriminating evidence on Ivanka.

“No child should ever feel hungry, stalked, frightened, terrorized, bullied, isolated or afraid, with nowhere to turn,”

It seems like an odd, very badly phrased, and age inappropriate assignment. I might see an assignment similar to this one for high schoolers, but I would phrase the question as “Imagine you are a KKK member in the 1950s, how were you recruited to the movement?” because that would focus more on motivation and

EXACTLY. That’s exactly right. This is not an age-appropriate assignment.

I’m not saying don’t explain it to them. I’m saying don’t let an 11 year old try to enter the mind of a KKK member without guidance.

See that’s what I mean, I UNDERSTAND how this can be an interesting assignment, but for 5th graders? I think it’s more important to be like KKK IS BAD at that age, and then when your critical thinking skills are a bit more developed, be like “okay so let’s see if we can understand why these people believe the horrible

I think the best outcome for an exercise like this is when you challenge people to justify why they would/wouldn’t have been on the right side of history to illustrate how most people can see the brutality of the past but tend to rationalize and protect those who currently hold similar values.

Somewhere recently it was reported that Trump truly does not understand that not everyone thinks Ivanka is as amazing as he does. The 3 older Trump children, it is obvious, have NO level of self-awareness. In their own rights, they are wildly unremarkable. I thought Bush was a terrible president, but to his credit,

My comments to Cylontater expressed my personal beliefs. My regret is that my comments and the public way I made them painted Spinal Tap in an unfair light. My respect for the band and my bandmates remains unconditional.

I’m trying to muster up some sympathy for Ivanka as a human, but it’s hard. I met Chelsea Clinton a few times and it always struck me that she was doing the best she could with unwanted celebrity. She is a very smart and dignified person. Apparently, she and Ivanka were friends, though I imagine that’s not going

In other words, she wants credit for supposedly trying to make her father act less racist; she just doesn’t want to actually try to make her father act less racist. That would be disloyal!

Now playing

I’m so tired of Javanka deploying anonymous sources to try to make it look like they’re some moderating force. They are complicit with this President and they’re doing nothing to stop him.
