The right to bodily autonomy and privacy is not political.

Simply put, the FAA does not fuck around. Ever. The stick up their ass has a stick up its ass and as a result, everyone everywhere follows the rules. When rules are followed, planes don’t fall out of the sky. The FAA is a large part of the reason why air travel is the safest mode of transportation on this planet.

He is a rapist. He is now free to offend again. This is not just about punishment, this is about how women are not safe in our society. Women are constantly told how to behave to be safer, but men are not stopped from victimizing women.

I’m pretty anti-prison, and I want real criminal justice reform, so the idea of an 18 year old being warehoused and incarcerated for four years is not an appealing one to me either.  

If I got even a fraction of the dollars people claim journalists are paid off, I wouldn’t need to work so hard. Eat shit.

The giant tablet haphazardly slapped onto the dash is the biggest intersection between "things manufacturers think look expensive" and "things a poor person would do to act rich" in recent memory. 

I appreciate the IDEA, but man, that execution just doesn’t do it for me. Should have left the outside looking closer to factory, the interior looks like they got to the week before they needed to show it and all said ‘Fuck it, just cram the new stuff in there!’ and that tablet stuck to the dash looks.. well, shit.

Say what you will about obnoxious yanks, I can’t imagine this thing lasting a few months in the US before a crew of pissed off folks with grinding wheels/concrete saws showed up and turned this into a speed bump.
