Still, I’d rather have messy, imperfect personal art—the multimillion dollar hubris of a man that nobody could say no to—over the “let’s just hit the reset button and make it up as we go” sequel trilogy any day of the week.

This show proves the Netflix model is terrible. Other streaming services tried it and many have moved away from it thankfully, after they realized that all it does is kill the conversation, hype, and buzz for a TV series.
Yeah, they’re massive as well. This thing weighs like 25kg without anything in it. I love it though, I’m a big guy and I appreciate having space to work in. My NZXT case was lovely but a nightmare to move things around, I’m left handed too so I’m working against the grain on a lot of things!
Has Johnson ever said that? Or anyone involved in the production? Or are you just ignoring something in a movie you like to justify hating another movie more.
Regardless of how you feel about it breaking the universe or not, Holdo’s Sacrifice is absolutely the most memorable visual in any Star Wars movie, and if it’s not quite the WOW factor of “I am your father,” for an entire generation of people born too late for that to be the defining moment in cinema for them, I’d…
Strongly disagree. There were several wow moments about the sequel trilogy, most especially in TLJ.
Two reasons.
I’m hoping, like they usually do, the MCU takes some storylines as a basis but reworks them entirely. Wanda has repeatedly been done dirty by the comics by being portrayed as a hysterical woman who repeatedly destroys reality because she can’t handle her emotions.
There was another where the Silent Assassin threshold was no more than one shot, so you had to be disguised as a guard, sneak through the prison and find the interrogation room where your target was the guard on the other side. If you shot the glass and then shot him, that caused SA to fail. So you had to find a cell…
I’m glad to see WandaVision keep up the television tradition of newborns appearing to be 3-6 months old at birth.
Im sure they'll be devastated.
For the current sale price it absolutely is worth just playing the campaign. I likely have the minority opinion but I am totally ok with paying “full price” ($80 cdn) for a 10 hour campaign. I like medium length games that I can finish within a reasonable time.
“Worth a purchase is a really tough question to answer since everyone has different value propositions. $30.00 means different things to different people.
You have my sympathies.
It didn't say reliably good or fast, or even up, just reliable. I would argue that, "reliably down" is still reliable since I can rely on it to be in the same state most of the time.
If corporations were an ice cream flavor they’d be pralines and dick?
I still buy the hardcopy version of games when I have the opportunity. Unfortunately, this is limited to Nintendo products for me right now.
remember when you could just walk into a store and buy the thing you were looking for without worrying about some fucker buying up all the product?
This movie is number 2 on my list of shit I'm completely fucking sick of hearing about, right behind Donald Trump's month long temper tantrum over being a loser.
Every previous Supergiant game always had an element that irked me in some way. Bastion felt samey gameplay-wise very quickly. Transistor had a difficulty curve that was all over the place. Pyre was... Pyre. For better or worse. I honestly don’t remember much from my time playing that other than “huh... that was…
