For me, it was feminists telling cis women that using the words “vagina” and “uterus” while protesting the eradication of abortion rights was “transphobic”.

When you do get off it give it to these students! So they can maybe also try responding to ideas with.....other ideas! Like the little scholars they aren’t. Instead of bringing frivolous lawsuits. More soapboxes for everyone, i’m srsly.

What part of this current iteration of feminism do you most identify with? The policing? The intolerance to differing views? The clinging to victimhood? I see none of myself in it.

It is a stunning example of feminism devouring itself.

When I was in 7th grade, I tried to pitch my memoir to my English Composition teacher. She bluntly told me that anyone who writes a memoir under the age of 65 is a charlatan. Not only was I not to write a memoir, I was to avoid anyone who was writing one without due cause like they had an infectious disease.

Well-adjusted 14 year olds do not “play doctor” with younger siblings.

Young people are easily flattered by celebrity attention?

As someone who doesn’t eat pork either, there’s a much better way to handle it than that. I would have said, “Would you mind changing your gloves? I don’t eat pork.”

And not just any 25-year-old, she has to be a nuclear physicist trapped in the body of a cheerleader who’s the only person in the world who can *help* the male hero solve whatever the problem is.

Well she *is* almost forty, the age when women apparently become invisible, pointless, and may as well be dead.

Is this actually commonplace? My best friend is in med school and for stuff like this (basically anything involving genitalia men or women) they have paid volunteers. Like people who literally get paid to be test subjects for them.

I think what is happening here after careful review:

Capitalism needs to be reigned in from time to time.

IMO, the problem lies in the law. Used to be, there were only a handful of professions exempt from overtime pay. As the years went on, corporations lobbied for more and more professions to be made exempt, and the government’s been all-to-happy to oblige them. Just because you are salary does not automatically make you

if my coworker was cheating on a bud I would definitely tell them

Why the snark?

Here’s why they did it. Because they can and there will be absolutely NO REPERCUSSION to their bottom line. None. Nata. Zip. Zilch.

If the kid was just a weird little kid I would tell my kid to go. However, my kid was once punched in the stomach by a kid on the spectrum. If she was invited to his party and she didn’t want to go, I wouldn’t make her and would not feel any guilt about it. If she wanted to go, I'd let her but no way would I encourage

From wikipedia :

That’s kinda hyperbolic, no? Life sounds hard for this girl and her parents, and I’m glad the story has a happy ending, but I don’t think the other kids or their parents are necessarily villains here. What did they do wrong?
