In college, somehow it came up that I had never seen Forrest Gump and people were horrified. But they ended up building it up so much that I didn't really get the draw. It was entertaining, but a lot of these things you pointed out, I vocalized (What the hell is up with Jenny, for real?) and got them mad at me.

I never really understood why (or where) people cried during this movie. Was it the curing dementia scene? Was it when they talked about letters?
