Fuck all of you for making fun of his eye condition — guess what? I look like that, too, because of a permanent injury from being beaten by an abusive ex. It can’t be fixed.

I am SO glad that baby was ok but goddamn I’d throw every ticket in the book at those parents. PROPERLY RESTRAIN YOUR CHILDREN!!! (And remember no puffy winter coats in the car seat! Use them like a blanket over the child once they’re already strapped in!)
I’m also getting people commenting that all the attacks are because the “PC brigade” have oppressed bigots for too long and it’s a backlash for minorities and women not being good little nobodies and keeping their mouths shut.
I for one am proud of our silent majority making sure that “Washington Politics as usual” was changed forever by reelecting almost every fucking member of Congress with the only position actually going to an outsider being the executive position that relies heavily on experience.
You are right. Said as a white person, ths is a white issue. I don’t even think it’s an older white issue. I think it’s a white issue. Most white people are racist. I always thought it was one in four. Now I’m thinking...what? Three in four? White people did this. On purpose. From hate.
I hope the ghost of Susan B Anthony makes Susan Sarandon shit her pants tonight.
All votes matter.
Tell you WHAT! I rolled my eyeballs so hard they fell out while reading all this insufferably lamebrained masturbatory navelgazing..... so I borrowed my coworker’s eyeballs to finish up reading with, and they fell out too before I even got to the end. Had to finish up with a pair of safety-goggles I scrounged from…
It’s amazing how many people seem to think that they, specifically, are noteworthy for having misgivings about both candidates in a presidential election. As if most people haven’t felt that way in most elections for all of time. Especially since most people in this country, prior to the past 8 years or so, haven’t…
That’s the point. Passion and dedication WERE alienating 40 years ago, 20 years ago, etc., especially from a woman and a wife who should ‘know her place,’ so she had to change to be accepted as a politician’s wife.
That is exactly what I was thinking. I guess when your opinion has always mattered you start to take it for granted and turn into a whiny douche.
I think saying you’re “holding your nose” to vote for a presidential candidate is just a weird way to put it. What you’re doing is voting for someone who you don’t entirely agree with because of the only two options that will come to pass, you know one is better than the other. It’s the same thing most of the…
I wish it was a surprise that all the female staff are upfront about voting for Hillary while a lot of the (mostly white) male staff either aren’t voting for either candidate because they’re not in a contested state or have to “hold their nose” to vote for her.
“Voting is fine, but it’s not enough about me. How can I make it less about other people and more about my perception of myself?”
Well, in his defense, tortoises have a lifespan of 150 years, so he is relatively younger.
Before reporting on the cross country team, the Crimson interviewed University President Drew G. Faust about the soccer team scandal, and the possibility that similar traditions exist on other sports teams at Harvard.“I felt it was important to at least try to get some preliminary notion of, are there people who know…
Totally agree. Most everyday (sad but true) murders and gun violence is perpetrated spur-of-the-moment by those with impulse control problems. Someone was insulted. Kid gets mad at his parents. Drunken guy shoots his wife because of the result of the football game. Cop shoots random criminal because he was “scared”.…
That’s another great point about the elitism at work here— parents who aren’t safely upper-class may hover because, if they’re discovered letting their kids walk home alone, or play at a park while Mom shops, they run the risk of being arrested for neglect/ abandonment.
