Wait, I thought you said in your other thread that objections to public breastfeeding are about bodily fluids? Not about boobs? I’m pretty sure whether you’re “enduring” a 5-year-old or a 5-month-old being fed in your presence, milk is still a bodily fluid. You’re POSITIVE it isn’t about the sexualization of women’s

You know cow’s milk is a bodily fluid too, right? So no one should drink milk or eat dairy products in public? Or eat honey? I mean, a piece of dead flesh is objectively grosser than breast milk, but I don’t expect all the meat-eaters in the world to only eat at home or under a piece of cloth.

But why? Other options only matter if there’s something wrong, or undesirable, about breastfeeding an 18-month-old. There isn’t, and the law protects her right to feed her child when and where she wants. And what were her other options? 1. Feeding the kid solid food at a mall, which is way grosser to watch than seeing

You’re getting a lot of momsplaining because you’re wrong and judgy. For someone who served in the military and presumably knows what real danger is, you seem remarkably thin-skinned and impacted by anonymous comments on a website. Fascists have much more effective tools at hand than internet comments. People can think you are an idiot and tell you that when you chime in to comments

You think most policy RIGHT NOW is HELPING women, minorities, and a bunch of others? When in the history of this country has politics and policy not hurt almost everyone but white men? Where’s your revolution? The change we have gotten has come from people organizing carefully and persistently, and oh yeah, by

This whole discussion assumes that there’s an objectively “best” person for a job, and considering things like race and gender mean ignoring “objective” qualifications. I’d argue that’s not true for any job - there are tons of different skills, dispositions, personality quirks, etc. that go into doing a job, and you
