Don’t worry it’s just a bunch of people venting. People have heard the story a million times about Haiti being a mess because of dictators and squandering $$$. We all know that old narrative. This is presenting the ‘other side’ of that story. 

Well talking about the US’s involvement in Haiti without mentioning that today the US is the #1 source of aid to the country seems rather skewed, doesn’t it? Considering foreign aid is a major part of Haiti’s economy today...

I doubt the majority of missionaries in Haiti voted Trump; have you spoken to Haitians about them (the missionaries)? Most Haitians I have spoken to were very positive about their efforts, and in fact told me to donate to the churches and NOT the Red Cross, which they didn’t trust and thought to be ineffective.

Dude, you do know that the US has given Haiti 2 BILLION dollars in the past 10 years alone?
