One thing I think people don't realize is that sunblock actually expires. It is good for about a year, so if you've got an old tube of sunblock from last summer laying around it probably needs to be replaced. My sister got burnt pretty bad one time using the previous summer's sunblock.

I got a pretty bad sunburn once and found the vinegar and tea trick online, I did not find them to be at all useful. Yes they cooled the burn initially as any cool liquid would, but they didn't help me heal any faster so I'm calling BS. As for the aloe issue, I've found that using real aloe rather than that weird

It totally did!

This is on topic yet off topic, but I saw an amazing ballet of snow white at my university this past spring featuring an Asian dancer as Snow White. Link to an online review (with images) [arts.umich.edu]

radical diversity issues aside I did watch first episode on hulu out of curiosity. It was okay, and I will admit I will probably end up watching it for a while at least, but overall if felt very forced. When I watched it I just happened across it on hulu so I didn't know it was by the creator of Gilmore Girls, but I

Yeah, but that is the lowest it has been in a long time.

So if the dreadful economy and awful unemployment rates weren't enough to make me desperate to get out of Michigan this will just be the cherry on the sunday.

It sounds like you got really lucky with the educational format at your school. I'm not personally religious, but I think that there is a lot of value in learning about religion, Judeo-Christian and otherwise. It helps us to understand world history, literature and so many other things. I honestly wish we had had the

Yeah for sure.

For whatever reason it keeps failing to inbed the video, but thought people might find this amusing [youtu.be]

It looks like a bunch of scenes mashed up for the sake of the trailer to me. It also looks like one of those trailers that is cut long before any scenes are solidly ready or any music is fully recorded. Like they put it out to get people excited, but it probably doesn't speak much to what the film will actually be

I agree although Fantine has always been a fan favorite, so I can see why they might use her song for the trailer. She may die, but she's the one every little girls dreams of playing not Cosette. Still you're not wrong, it's early I'm guessing they may not have actually finished recording most of the music yet.

It sounds like people are still concerned about her ability to pull it off vocally, but I'll be interested to see how the version in the actual movie turns out. The one for the trailer is clearly a different interpretation from just full blown signing the song, but I'm still going to bet that she can pull it off. I

so true.

You make a lot of really good connections. I think it is a good analysis, the only thing I would say is that while I think Joan has every right to do what she wants with her body, I don't think she wanted to do what she did. She was backed into a corner, she's scared trying to figure out how to afford to raise a

Right, I think people are interpreting my comments to mean that I think he's a good guy. I don't really care if he's a "good guy" I just don't think that "Harry has always been a jerk" is enough of an explanation for him being a cheat, just sort of seems like a cop-out. I'll check out the article.

Yeah I agree with that. Ken is definitely more happy in his marriage than Harry ever was.

Yeah, I know other characters have made comments, but he never seemed to brag about anything like that and it honestly just seemed as though in that department he just let people think that. As in he let others think he was messing around because they'd give him a much harder time if they knew he didn't. Plus I mean

I was wondering that too!

Oh god yes, I agree completely.
