I think one of the weird things about this remake is that while ‘Man on a Wire’ was amazing, I can’t think of another doc where the main character is so utterly unlikable. And to spin a ‘dramatized’ version of a real life dickhead doing something amazing, I’m not sure I really want to see that.

Its worth noting that the early days of Jon Stewart were, compared to his later years, tough to watch. Same can be said with John Oliver as he gets better and better with every week over on HBO. If this is Noah’s jumping off point, I’m pretty optimistic for the future.
