Nah, the best film of 1994 was the Chris Elliott vehicle “Cabin Boy”.

Sorry, Tom. FG should not have won Best Picture. Gary Sinise is great (as always) but the film as a whole is pretty mediocre.

“*Yawn* . . . where’ve you been?”

Wedding Singer:

You skipped my fave...

They did that last week with the integration of the beignet shop, too. Hank eats a beignet within the first few minutes of the episode.

You know how there’s like, good music, and bad music? She makes the good stuff.

She’s written consistently haunting and beautiful music for nearly fifty years. Stunning voice, talented musician, composer, and dancer.

Barry notably didn’t kill Ryan, the Chechens did. definitely feels noteworthy that the one relative of the person Barry didn’t kill, Ryan’s dad, saves Barry instead of killing him

Anyone else notice how Natalie’s show shamelessly panders to BanShe’s algorithm? The BanShe rep said that people were more likely to watch the whole show if the season starts with someone eating a dessert and if it incorporates Central Park.

Vance is right that his song—one of only two Valiants songs that ever charted, along with “Barbara Ann” parody “Bomb Iran”—predates Carey’s by about five years,

Kenan Thompson has been on the show for 19 years, since 2003. By far the longest running cast member.

he’s a bit of an odd choice for American Gigolo given how pretty the original AG was, and Bernthal isn’t “pretty” by any stretch LOL, but go ahead and give him his damn Emmy for his exceptional work on We Own This City as the megalomaniacal antagonist.

I don’t get Rise of Skywalker hate. Sure, the Emperor still being alive was a stretch, but it was fairly enjoyable and seemed to make sense as a way to end things (though Kelly Marie Tran got screwed, talk about Star Wars racism!!)

I would describe Yellowjackets more as Bend it like Beckham crossed with Alive (the cannibal plane crash movie)

Those monsters at Fox news who want everyone to arm themselves or arm the schools, need to see what it’s like to go through one of these things. Shame no one has visted their offices so they can see what the fuck these kids, parents, teaches all have to go through. Instead they sit up there, bring on guests who blame

I think it’s a slow-burn meta commentary on the people in the audiences’ lives that they think are entitled dicks because everything seems easy for them. There was a time when the maxim ‘don’t judge a man until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes’ applied universally. Then as class resentment settled in, it got cleaved

I don’t understand why so many seem to view Howard as a dick.

So the thing about Disney is that if you like that stuff there isn’t a better experience anywhere. They just utterly nailed it.  So calling it “overrated” is a bit silly.  And if you DON’T like that stuff, well, even if it’s as close to perfect as a thing that people are allowed to be involved in can be you’re not
