Wait you think Ferris is an unlikable jerkface? The whole point of the movie is that he gets away with everything because he is so beloved by everyone but Jeannie and the principal... and even Jeannie chooses him over Rooney.

Well fine but less likely a great aunt. I’m no Spiderman canon expert, I’ve basically just seen the old cartoon and the movies. So when the character has all along been more of a great aunt/grandmother type character the pivot was jarring to me.
