HOW DID YOU NOT EVEN MENTION BLUES BROTHERS
HOW DID YOU NOT EVEN MENTION BLUES BROTHERS
Your only description of Ted Lasso was “overlong”
1. Jaws 2. Star Wars 3. Indy 4. Jurassic Park. There I fixed your top 4.
You are one dumb boring person and no one agrees with you
LOL no
Pretend it’s your resume and embellish
For shame!
“job, AVClub” has me on the fucking floor
Hear you; Carrie is also growing and changing so I wouldn’t expect her to react the same way as S1. Acknowledge she brought her own baggage bc she was def still hung up on BOTH Aiden and Big. But Berger was a total manchild and also couldn’t perform in the sack. He was cute (I adore Ron Livingston) but nothing else…
Hard disagree on 1-2. You comment that Carrie is working through the grief of losing her husband (and the horror of hearing Miranda and Che in her kitchen, BARF) and yet you give her no grace. I might even drop her below Charlotte.
Excuse me but Berger sucked. He was the one up his own ass. Carrie’s always had her issues but that one wasn’t on her.
Yeah... he plays a fireman on Chicago Fire
I fucking hate Wall-E. The first part was cute where it was just him but the lazy Americans allegory was so obnoxious it ruined the entire experience for me.
I would watch the original Lightning McQueen over that bizarre uncanny valley dog child movie ever again.
I get that there’s an emotional and nostalgic connection to the original TS but it’s not even the best in the franchise, let alone all of Pixar. Primitive animation aside, they were still figuring out world building, character design, and storytelling.
Oh definitely had its moments!
This season was so much funnier than S3. S3 was so dark I almost stopped watching. Having finished S4, that choice for S3 feels very deliberate.
Having just binged the season, I kinda wish I had read these recaps as I went along bc there’s so much hope that I now know is futile (cry)
You lost me at underwhelming #bye
Thanks for the useless Young Sherlock Holmes trailer, here’s the glass knight scene
